This project was for a final for my Photoshop class. I wanted to make a poster because of how celebrated posters are in the skateboarding culture. I wanted to take one of my all-time favorite skateboard images of my friend performing an ollie south and turn it into a poster. My goal was to make a poster that made people excited to go out and skate. My secondary goal was to challenge my Photoshop skills. I also wanted the image to feel grunge and dirty. I used ripped paper textures and halftone effects to achieve this. When I finished the poster, all my friends wanted a copy for their room.
